@Ashish, yup, those "I had to walk 10 miles in the snow" stories are universal. Dads everywhere tend to portray their childhood as miserable, even if it wasn't so.
Betcha that you and I would one day tell our children that "In our days we had to wait 20 minutes for a 1.7MB clip to download – and it was snowing outside!"

It's because in their generation, they don't feel such as "facebook" or "twitter" things.
What our parents did on they young age is scare out of the world war II and working to feed us.
And here we are, enjoying their sweat and hard work all those years. LOL
